Jake eats, sleeps, drinks, blinks and breathes this business. He has an awareness and understanding of great advertising and design stretching back decades before he was even born. And you can see that in everything he does. He's very aware of what's on trend, and he's very capable of using the newest tools, but his work also has a timeless quality to it. You can feel the influence of the greats in there without it ever being an imitation.

In all the years we worked together, I honestly can’t remember seeing Jake stumped for an idea. His first thoughts were always of the highest standard, but his own standards meant he never settled for first thoughts. He’s one of those people who thinks about the work constantly. The only concept Jake ever seemed to struggle with was “standard work hours”.

Apart from the many pitches Jake helped to win, he was also integral to McCann Bristol’s first Cannes Lion during my time as CCO. Still one of my happiest memories from a thick chapter full of happy McCann memories.

A seriously talented creative, and someone who cares deeply about doing the work properly and to the very highest standard – without ever forgetting it needs to shift perceptions and product too. He’s quite something.
